How to add Microsoft Word as the default processor

This article relates to both the TM2 and TM3 versions of the desktop software.

If you own a copy of Microsoft Word, you will be able to set it as the default program for TM2.

Go to Tools > TM2 Options > Folders

From here, you will see an option for Word Processor

Click on the browse button, and choose the directory of the .exe for Microsoft Word.

Depending on the version of MS Word the location of the install can be different.

It can most commonly be found on your machine here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\WINWORD.EXE

For more up-to-date versions of Windows and Microsoft Office this can sometimes be found here:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\root\Office15\WINWORD.EXE

You will now need to restart TM2 in order to take advantage of Microsoft Word.
