TM2/TM3 Install

This article relates to both the TM2 and TM3 versions of the desktop software

This guide will show you how to download and install TM2 or TM3, for both Hosted and Local clients.

Pre-Install Checklist

Disable UAC (User Account Control)

Windows 8, 8.1, 10

1. Go To Control Panel - User Accounts and Family Safety - User Accounts
2. Choose 'Change User Account Control Settings'
3. Move the Slider down to Never Notify - Press OK

Hosted

Download TM2 from the link located here.

Once the download has completed

1. Right-Click on the download and choose Extract All…
2. Select a destination to extract to and press OK
3. Right-Click on the extracted file and choose Run As Administrator.

This will start the installation for TM2.

1. Click 'I accept the terms of the license agreement' - Press Install.
2. Allow the Installer to complete.
3. Click Finish

TM2 will now be installed on your system. You will find a TM2 Icon on your desktop.

Right-Click the TM2 Icon and choose Run as Administrator.

1. Enter your Client ID and PIN.
2. Install TAP adapter

Once TM2 loads to the login menu, enter your details and press Start TM2.

Local

Download TM2 from the link located here.

Once the download has completed

1. Right-Click on the download and choose Extract All…
2. Select a destination to extract to and press OK
3. Right-Click on the extracted file and choose Run As Administrator.

This will start the installation for TM2.

1. Click 'I accept the terms of the license agreement' - Press Install.
2. Choose the 'Client + Database' option
3. Allow the Installer to complete.
4. Click Finish

TM2 will now be installed on your system. You will find a TM2 Icon on your desktop.

Right-Click the TM2 Icon and choose Run as Administrator.

1. Enter your Client ID and PIN

Once TM2 loads to the login menu, enter your details and press Start TM2.
