Our latest release is now available which you will receive via automatic updates.
This document details all featured enhancements and known issues fixed in the TM2 June/July 2014 update. There are various exciting new additions to TM2 including:
- New ‘Exercise Prescriber’ feature in ‘Linked Software’
- Automatic email & SMS reminders

TM2 Application Enhancements
New ‘Exercise Prescriber’ feature in ‘Linked Software’
“The Exercise Prescriber is an essential tool for health professionals who regularly prescribe home exercises for their clients”. (The Exercise Prescriber.com 2014).

This is a third party product and TM2 provides a link to the Exercise Prescriber website.
This new feature is accessible via TM2 > Tools > TM2 Options > Linked Software > Exercise Prescriber tab:
How it works:
As this is a third party product please register on http://www.exerciseprescriber.com/ and obtain your log in credentials.
In TM2:
- Tools > TM2 Options > Linked Software > Exercise Prescriber tab
- Tick the box ‘Enable Exercise Prescriber Integration’
- Enter the exercise prescriber URL: http://www.exerciseprescriber.com/
- Enter your Subscription Num
- Enter your Access Key
- Please ensure you select ‘Save’
In TM2 open a patient record > on the bottom-right there is now a new button called ‘Exercise Prescriber’ (see below) > selecting this will log you directly into the Exercise Prescriber website using the credentials you entered in TM2 Options/Linked Software.
The Exercise Prescriber button is also accessible in TM2 Touch
Automatic email & SMS reminders
This new feature will allow users to set a time for appointment & class reminders to be sent out to their clients, via email and/or SMS.
To set this up; go to Tools > TM2 Options > Advanced Settings > Configuration tab > Diary section
You will see these new settings:
Auto confirm option – both/email only/SMS only
- This option is used to select what communication methods to use for auto confirmations
Scheduled Reminders - Receive email reminders sent notification – TRUE or FALSE
- This option will send you a notification after the successful completion of sending email reminders
Scheduled Reminders - Receive SMS reminders sent notification – TRUE or FALSE
- This option will send you a notification after the successful completion of sending SMS reminders
Scheduled Reminders - send email reminders - TRUE or FALSE
- This option will automatically send email reminders each day at the scheduled time
Scheduled Reminders - send 'N' days before appointment
- This option will set the number of days before an appointment scheduled reminder will be sent
Scheduled Reminders - send SMS reminders - TRUE or FALSE
- This option will automatically send SMS reminders each day at the scheduled time
Scheduled Reminders - send time (e.g. 12:00)
- This option will set the time of day at which scheduled reminders will be sent. Please note that this time is approximate. The reminders may be sent within fifteen minutes of the time specified.

Auto-reminders are only available to hosted clients.

TM2-B05243 | Classes | Practice - Classes - The search date range is not returning some classes. E.g. A class for the 12th June doesn't appear in the search results if the From and To dates are both 12th June. |

TM2-B05262 | Diary | Appointment Fidner: The 'Reset' option can be slow to respond and users need a process timer to indicate the search results are resetting. |

TM2-B05373 | TM2 Options | In TM2 Options > General > VAT Rate: When users change this VAT rate they anticipated that all of their stock items would display in their invoices with the updated VAT ammount, however this VAT rate only applies to new stokc items. We have made this clearer by adding in; 'only applies to new stock items' beside the VAT setting in TM2 Options. |

TM2-B05390 | Billing | Pre-Paid Billing Items - Selecting From New Appointment In the Appointment > when manually selecting a stock item that has a pre-paid amount applied > complete this appointment > when creating a 'Next' appointment the pre-paid stock item was not defaulting; this is incorrect |

TM2-B05660 | Diary | Diary > appointment > enter 'Q' for QuickPay > Press the 'Esc' button on the QuickPay screen > TM2 Error | This has now been amended in the software. |
TM2-B05721 | Reports | Some reports were unable to 'minimise' resulting in a user's inability to view other areas of TM2 at the same time. The report types that were affected were Crystal Reports (file extension on '.rpt') |

TM2-B05818 | Diary | When users use 'log out' instead of 'exit' when moving between Training and LIve; stock items from the Training Database were displaying as an option in the appointment in Live. | This has now been amended in the software. |

When an appointment that has been linked to a case is deleted or cancelled the case was also deleted. | This has now been amended in the software. |
